Earth Day 2008

Everything turned out perfectly for Earth Day 2008....great crowd, great music, and great weather. This year, CFB was joined by our friends from UNC-Pembroke who have a travelling production trailer (complete with a sweet paint job). Together, we occupied our own little village near the bands. The event provided a great opportunity for us to swap stories and plan collaborative events for the future.

Bruce Kenney, one of our long-time members, also brought along his small-scale production equipment and produced a few gallons of "homebrew" throughout the day. He entertained dozens of kids and adults with his production demonstrations, really inspiring people to get involved. We'll try to film his presentation and post it on our website in the near future.
